Thank You, President Barack Obama

Eight years ago tomorrow, President Barack Obama was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States. Under his guidance, the country recovered from the recession. More protections for LGBT+ people were passed, and “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” was repealed. Under President Obama, the United States made green energy gains. Unemployment is down. It’s been a great eight years, from the creation of the Affordable Care Act to the end of the War in Iraq.

To quote President Obama’s Farewell Addresss:
“Yes we can. Yes we did. Yes we can.”

It’s been a great eight years under the guidance of a great president. Thank you, President Obama.
